IMPERIAL Commercials is the largest Independant Commercial Vehicle Dealer Group in the UK. IMPERIAL Commercials is also the largest DAF Trucks Dealer Group in the UK. We have 21 DAF Trucks Dealerships. We have 26 sites in the UK with a Head Office in High Wycombe. We are owned by IMPERIAL Holdings SA with approximately 34,500 employees worldwide who are responsible for the growth and continued success of the group that began as a motor dealer in downtown Johannesburg in 1948. The Annual turnover is in the region of £4 Billion.

Here in the UK we sell new trucks and used trucks. Our other franchise partners are VW Commercial Vehicles, Ford Commercials, FIAT Professional, MAN Trucks, Renault Trucks, Nissan Commercial Vehicles, ISUZU Trucks and HINO Trucks. We sell all makes parts for trucks and vans including truck accessories. We also offer all makes truck and vans servicing. We sell new vans and used vans.

IMPERIAL Commercials is committed to supporting truck and van operators to the highest standards, maximising vehicle availability or uptime. We offer a wide range of product and service solutions to meet the varying needs of individual vehicle users.

Our intention is to provide vehicle and after sales packages on an efficient, value for money basis recognising individual applications and needs. Many of our 26 locations are open for service for 24 hours, others for extended hours - giving flexibility and optimising vehicle availability. Of around 850 employees approximately 350 are technician grades.

We have a demonstrable commitment to continuous technical training - for both sales and technical colleagues - including a substantial apprentice programme (currently over 60 apprentices in training).

We also support our customers' interests through industry associate memberships of SOE/IRTE, Freight Transport Association and Road Haulage Association.

The logistics division operates in Southern Africa, France, Germany, Lithuania, Netherlands and Poland. It runs a fleet of more than 5,000 trucks and has a large fleet of specialist barges operating on the river Rhine. It has a range of specialist subsidiary operations including fresh food distribution in South Africa, a road tanker fleet, a 4PL logistics company and other niche activities.

Car rental and tourism is based in South Africa where the group holds the Europcar franchise and has trading links with National Car Rental and Alamo.

The motor vehicle division is the South African distributor/importer for Citroen, Daihatsu,Hyundai, Kawasaki, Kia, Renault (a joint venture with Renault) Ssanyong and Toyota Forklift.

The retail operation encompasses around 200 retail motor dealerships including a number of Ford dealerships in Australia, Nissan dealerships in Sweden and in excess of 100 dealerships in South Africa including franchises for Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Fiat, Bentley, Nissan, Jaguar, Land Rover, Honda, Ford, Mazda, Opel, Suzuki, Isuzu, Volvo, Chrysler and Colt (Mitsubishi).
