    Due to further expansion of our Parts factor Business TTE we are looking to recruit a Warehouse controller based at our Oldbury depot. 

    TTE operates from two sites Pershore and Oldbury supplying the local commercial vehicle industry with O.E parts from our wide range of suppliers.

    We are a small team and pride ourselves in customer service, flexibility and our ability to find solutions to customer problems.  

    We are now looking to recruit a Warehouse controller, the successful applicant will be responsible for receiving and processing all inward bound deliveries, parts picking, stock control and front counter duties, while offering support to our parts sales team

    The ideal candidate will have some Warehouse/Parts knowledge, a full driving licence, be customer focused, enthusiastic and forward thinking, the candidate must be flexible in his/her approach to both daily duties and working hours to ensure they become a valued member of  this small  but successful team. 

     

    Position : -               Warehouse controller

    Reporting to: -         Depot Manager

    Based: -                    TTE Oldbury

    Job Purpose. 
    To Receive and process all inward bound deliveries.

    To carry Parts picking duties and prepare parts for delivery.

    To be fully responsible for warehouse area including parts storage and control.

    To carry out four perpetual stock checks per year.

    To work along parts sales team to help process all customer enquiries/orders.

    Provide excellent customer service/contact.

    Carry out parts delivery duties during peak periods.

    Compliance with company health and safety requirements at all times.

    To help take our Corporate Fleet Sales to the next level by increasing our penetration in the valuable tender market for vehicles, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tender Sales Executive, reporting to the Group Corporate Sales Manager and ideally based at our Fleet office in Derby (although other group locations may be possible). You will be responsible for developing the volume and quality of our tender response and wins for LCV sales for all of our market leading brands as well as assisting the wider group in submissions and responses.

     

    IMPERIAL Group Fleet was established in 2014 to help to continue to grow our LCV sales into the corporate market place and has, in a short time, established itself as a key player in this sector. In 2016 it is on track to deliver over 1000 LCV units from our portfolio of 6 market leading brands with a desire to grow that volume through quality routes. Supported by the wider group, including our own vehicle conversion business, we already have a strong presence in the utility and local authority market but the right focus will improve that dramatically.

     

    Your objectives and key tasks will be to:

     

    • Manage the tender portals and extract suitable opportunities
    • Respond to tenders from frameworks where IMPERIAL are already approved
    • Review, prepare and submit responses using all the resources to hand
    • Compile and manage a tender document library for the wider group to access
    • Provide support to the regional operations for tender submissions
    • Build relationships with the key stakeholders including manufacturer partners
    • To help the department achieve targets
    • To maximise all sales opportunities



      The ideal candidate will require strong planning skills, communication and presentation skills, together with self-motivation, confidence, enthusiasm and tenacity. Tender management experience in the motor trade would be ideal but at least an understanding of this area is essential. Experience of LCV products and the market would be a distinct advantage but not essential. A full UK driving licence is also required for this role.

Your key tasks will be:

 

  • To ensure efficient workshop use of resources so service and repairs are carried out to the highest quality standards
  • To maintain effective liaison with sales, parts and workshop teams
  • To maximise service profitability and customer awareness of all available Van Centre Service
  • To sell additional products, services and repair works in a professional manner
  • To ensure all work is completed safely and complies with Van Centre, manufacturer and industry guidelines
  • To ensure the highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times
  • To help the Van Centre achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency

 

The ideal candidate will require strong selling, motivation, communication and planning skills, together with confidence, enthusiasm and tenacity.  Knowledge of VAG products and Kerridge is desirable for the role and some supervisory experience would be a distinct advantage, although not essential.
