Motus Commercials colleagues have significantly exceeded their fundraising targets in this year's Three Peaks Challenge; ‘Climbing mountains for those who can’t’.
Taking place on Saturday 20th May, the Motus Commercials Three Peaks Challenge teams, drawn from across its extensive UK network of 32 dealer locations, saw colleagues meet to climb the three highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales – Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis, and Snowdon.

Mobility Trust was selected as the overall group charity, an organisation that funds powered mobility equipment for those in need of assistance.
There was openness to local suggestions too. The South West Region choosing to support colleague Jon Buckley, whose partner Jess needs an active wheelchair and power attachment, while the West Midlands Region chose Headway Wirral, a charity that offers support for victims of brain injury.
Donations were collected via online platforms. Over £1500 was collected for Mobility Trust and £501 for Headway Wirral, with Jess Buckley's fundraiser receiving an additional £644 – some 25% higher overall than the teams’ initial targets.

Emma Murdock, HR Director at Motus Commercials comments, “We have been overwhelmed by the turnout and the fundraising efforts of colleagues for the Motus Commercials Three Peaks Challenge.
“There were a variety of weathers on the day, with scorching temperatures at Snowdon, and a contrasting snowy experience at Ben Nevis. It’s safe to say that each mountain had its challenges, but our colleagues pulled together tremendously to reach their summit.
“I couldn’t be prouder of what we have achieved with this event; individually, as a team, and in our fundraising efforts. This is a true testament to one of our key company values; ‘Together we make a difference’.”
