Mackworth Bodyworks gets ISO9001:2008

We are proud to announce that Mackworth Bodyworks at Derby (a division of Imperial Commercials Ltd) has achieved ISO 9001:2008. Mackworth Bodyworks is a commercial vehicle body manufacturer and also undertakes conversion, refurbishment and painting of all types of commercial vehicles. The awarding of the ISO standard is an important achievement for us and shows our commitment to quality. Having a quality system in place is increasingly something our customers have been asking for and expecting of us. It is also a requirement of the forthcoming Type Approval Regulations affecting all commercial vehicle bodybuilders and suppliers. The implementation of a quality system to ISO9001:2008 is not only a guarantee that we reach a certain standard but that we are committed to seeking to challenge our business to seek out ongoing improvement in systems, products and practices.
