Mackworth Wins Refurbishment Contract

Imperial Commercials Mackworth has been successful in winning a refurbishment contract from Balfour Beatty Ltd. The contract for 16 vehicles with an option for another 20 vehicles is a significant gain for the company. All the vehicles have been stood unused during the recession. The decision to return these vehicles to service is a positive sign of Balfour Beatty’s confidence in the economy picking up. The contract involves carrying out body repairs, painting, deep cleaning, mechanical inspection and servicing, new decals and reflective. The vehicles are also being upgraded to the latest Health and Safety standards to meet Balfour Beatty’s “Zero Harm to its staff by 2012” Policy. Robert Summerfield Mackworth Bodyworks Manager comments; “This shows that Balfour recognises our abilities to meet their aims and requirements while adhering to their Health & Safety policies and delivering a consistent quality standard. All the different departments of the dealership and the bodyworks are showing their ability to work together to deliver a seamless result within the customers specified timescales.”
